Entry Requirements
i. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, between the ages of 18 and 30.
ii. Good health, meet the corresponding professional admission conditions: proper eye sights with no color vision deficiency; normal function of hearing, smell and expression; Anyone with infectious diseases (hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis，tuberculosis, etc.) and chronic diseases are required to be completely cured before applying; Applicants with a history of mental disorder are not recommended to apply. International School has the rights to terminate student’s application who don’t meet the health requirements.
iii. Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the relevant regulations of the Capital Medical University (CMU).
iv. English Requirements:
(i) Native English speakers do not need to take English examination.
(ii) Students who attend English speaking secondary schools need to provide evidence in order to waive the English examination.
(iii) We require the score report of TOEFL/IELTS or other English test certificate for all international applicants whose primary native language is not English and who attend a non-English speaking secondary school. Minimum scores of 80 on TOEFL or 6.0 on the IELTS are recommended.
vi. Requirements of the regulations set in the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met：According to the regulations released by Ministry of Education, China, if parent(s) was (were) a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2026.
Emigrants from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applying as international students must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2026.
vii. Provide CSCA exam results, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, and either Physics or Chemistry as an elective subject.

Note: All admitted students need to attend a foundation course before they can enter the MBBS program. After completing the three-month foundation course, they can start their MBBS studies.

Course Arrangement
6 years' Program include:
1 year foundation course (on campus courses),
2 year basic medicine (on campus courses),
2 year clinical medicine (on campus and hospital courses),

i．The Acceptance Letter and JW202 Form will be sent to qualifying applicants; applicants can take the two documents to Chinese Embassy to apply for student (X1) visa.
ii．Registration time：Students must register on the date specified in the acceptance letter. Late registration has to be approved by CMU Student office. Those who are two weeks overdue are considered voluntary withdrawal. Upon registration at CMU, students are not allowed to transfer to other universities.
iii．Within the first 3 months, students are in the probation period, school officials will recheck identity, health condition, and academic performance, any violation within first month will be expelled from the school.Degree Awarded
On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the university, if they meet the degree regulations of the university. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
Internship
Students need to do the internship/training in China, and the tuition will cover the internship fee.
If international students would like to do the internship in China, Capital Medical University would help student choose a hospital.
